73rd Inter-Services Volleyball Championship was inaugurated at SNC, Kochi on 08 Aug 2023. Commodore VJ Samuel, CSO(P and A) was Chief Guest on the occasion. In his inaugural address, Chief Guest highlighted importance of sports in building physical and mental resilience, fostering team spirit and enhancing overall fitness among service personnel. The participating teams were introduced amidst cheers from enthusiastic audience. The tournament kick-started with ceremonial toss. Four teams comprising of two teams from Indian Army and one each from Indian Navy and Indian Air Force are participating in championship.
