Celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav with pride, the ships of SNC embraced the spirit of Meri Mati Mera Desh at Manjapra Panchayat at Ernakulam district today. Indian Navy personnel along with Panchayat members and villagers joined hands towards celebrations of 77th Independence Day. The day long event comprised awareness rally, sapling plantation, singing of national anthem and a heartfelt pledge to celebrate rich cultural heritage and strengthen unity while performing duties of citizen of India. Honoring the legacy, Mr. Madan P Paulo, a 98 year old freedom fighter, was also felicitated. Unity and patriotism filled the air!
