Inter Squadron Debate and Declamation Competition for Autumn Term 23 was held at INA on 12 Aug 2023. Teams comprising of 2 cadets each from six squadrons competed for the coveted trophy. It was a show of persuasion, soft skills and rhetoric. The event was keenly contested amongst the participants who debated on the topic, ”Is life beyond earth a myth or reality?” Cdt Siddhant Dwivedi (Daredevil Squadron) and Cadet Jhanvi Singh (Braveheart Squadron) were adjudged Best Speakers who spoke in ‘favour’ and ‘against’ the motion respectively. As a part of Declamation competition, the declaimers presented comical, inspirational, deliberative and informative speeches of renowned personalities. Cadet Jaskirat Singh (Fighter Squadron) and Cdt Shashvat Tyagi (Braveheart Squadron) were adjudged the Best Declaimers. The audience was enthralled by the spectacular oratorical skills of the cadets. Braveheart Squadron won both Inter Squadron Debate Competition as well Declamation Competition. Vadm Puneet K Bahl, Commandant, INA presented the individual prizes and Trophies to the winning Squadron.
