College of Nursing, INHS Asvini celebrated 77th Independence Day as part of National Service Scheme programme under the campaign Meri Mati Mera Desh. Various activities were conducted by Nursing Cadets, which included a presentation on contribution of freedom fighters and government initiative of Janbhagidari, patriotic song competition and a skit depicting existing social problems in India. Prizes were awarded to the winners for various competitions by Surg RAdm Vivek Hande, Commanding Officer, INHS Asvini. Dignitaries, faculty and Nursing cadets took Panch Pran pledge for a developed and resurgent India.
