Cmde Sandeep Sabnis took over as Commodore Superintendent, NAY(Kochi) from Cmde Yogesh Pandey at Kochi on 18 Aug 2023. His professional career includes appointments as Air Engineer Officer INAS310, Staff Instructor at NIAT, Training Officer(Cadets) at INS Shivaji and Station Air Engineer Officer, INS Dega. He has also served as Engineering Officer of frontline warships, INS Kora and INS Deepak. He has held various staff appointments at HQNA, HQWNC and at IHQ MoD(N) as Principal Director DAPP. Before taking over as Commodore Superintendent, NAY(K), he held appointment of Director, NIAT. The outgoing Commodore Superintendent, NAY(K) will be taking over as Deputy Director General, Project Seabird at IHQ MoD(N) in New Delhi.
