Shri Umesh NSK IAS, District Collector, Ernakulam visited Coastal Defence Headquarters CDHQ at Naval Base, Kochi on 18 Aug 2023. He interacted with Cmde Rajesh Kumar Yadav, NOIC(Kerala) and discussed coastal security issues and challenges. He was taken on a walk around of CDHQ and provided insight on the role and responsibilities of Indian Navy in coastal security construct. He was also briefed on various aspects of inter agency coordination and surveillance mechanism to ensure seamless coastal security.
