A transformative workshop on 'Mental Health and Marital Harmony' was organised by INS Garuda at Sagarika, Naval Base, Kochi on 19 Aug 2023. Capt Cyril Mathew, Officer-in-Charge, SFNA was the Chief Guest for the event. The workshop was aimed at providing a platform to address and enhance mental well being, emotional resistance and interpersonal relationships. Surg Cdr Uzma, Psychiatrist, INHS Sanjivani brought out the importance of mental health in professional as well as day to day life. Dr Isha Sharma, a renowned psychologist shared her view on marital harmony. Risk factors of life style diseases and its prevention was explained by Surg Cdr Santosh Swain, Station Health Organisation (Kochi). The event witnessed wholehearted participation of more than 400 naval personnel and their families.
