Challenging Hip Surgery undertaken at INHS Asvini

A 30 yr old serving Air Warrior presented with painful restriction of movement at left hip joint underwent Arthroscopic Osteoplasty at INHS Asvini for Femoroacetabular Impingement and is on the road to recovery with a pain free hip. Hip Arthroscopy is a very rarely performed, technically challenging, minimally invasive procedure that promotes early rehabilitation and mobilization of the patient. The Orthopaedic centre at INHS Asvini has always been at the forefront of pioneering work in the field and is the only centre in Armed Forces performing Hip Arthroscopic surgeries.
