INS Agrani conducted an outreach programme to support 'Project Puthri' by Avtar Human Capital Trust at Avinashilingam Institute, Coimbatore on 26 Aug 2023. 'Project Puthri' is a noble initiative to empower underprivileged girls and help them in pursuing their education and career. Lt Cdr Sandhya Sorout along with Karthick Mani MCAM II from the Unit conducted an awareness cum interactive session with the girl students of Senior Secondary classes. More than 400 girls from various schools of Coimbatore attended the programme. The students were explained on various prospects and career opportunities in Indian Navy. The event was utilised to motivate young minds on Naval way of life. The interactive sessions were widely appreciated and succeeded in raising awareness about Indian Navy and instil in them the spirit of patriotism and pride towards Nation.
