The newly constructed Officers' Married Accommodation at Naval Wireless Transmitting Station, Avadi was inaugurated by RAdm RK Dhingra, Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Naval Area. In keeping with the best environment friendly practices, the building has been provided with solar geysers, rain harvesting system and planned arboriculture for the complex in addition to being equipped with entitled modern amenities.
