Dornier aircraft from INAS314 undertook maiden landing by an Indian Navy aircraft at Hirasar Airport, Gujarat on 10 Sep 2023 with commencement of operations at the airport. The aircraft were welcomed with traditional water cannon shower. Hirasar will be an important diversionary airport for Naval aircraft in Gujarat Area and will also assist in training on instrument aided landings. The aircrew interacted with Airport Director and his team during the visit.
