INS Tarkash and INS Teg sailed with 39 Naval cadets including 03 women trainees of NDA, Khadakvasla for a familiarisation sea sortie off Mumbai on 14 Sep 2023 to expose the cadets to dynamics of life at sea. The cadets were given first-hand experience of replenishment at sea, close-quarter manoeuvres, force protection measures, firefighting, coastal navigation, pilotage, seamanship evolutions and semaphore.
