Adm M Nazmul Hassan, CNS Bangladesh Navy visited Mumbai from 14 to 16 Sep 23. He interacted with VAdm Dinesh K Tripathi, FOCINC WNC and discussed issues of mutual interest, cooperation in maritime operations, training and infrastructure. At HQWNC he was given an overview of operational capability and responsibilities of WNC. The Admiral visited indigenously built vessels including Naval Offshore Patrol Vessel INS Sunayna, guided missile destroyer INS Visakhapatnam and attack submarine INS Khanderi. During his visit to ND (Mbi), Adm M Nazmul Hassan interacted with RAdm DK Goswami, the Admiral Superintendent and discussed matters related to the maintenance, repair and refit capabilities of the Yard. He was also shown state-of-the-art Aircraft Carrier Dock and other niche facilities.
