The Annual Training Conference ATC and Annual Training Meeting ATM of Indian Navy were held at Naval Base, Kochi on 20 Sep 2023. Both the events were chaired by VAdm MA Hampiholi, FOCINC SNC. In addition, VAdm Puneet K Bahl, Commandant INA, VAdm Suraj Berry, COP along with heads of all training units and establishment and representatives from IHQ MoD(N) and all three Commands of Indian Navy attended the event in offline as well as online mode. All agencies involved in training of officers and sailors in Indian Navy reviewed the ever changing complexities of maritime environment and discussed way ahead on exploiting niche technologies to meet the operational challenges posed by it. The event witnessed release of Training compendium and launch of version 3.0 of Online Feedback Management System. The beta version of Indian Navy Training Portal was also demonstrated. SNC Gyan Praveen Trophy for best Training Package was awarded to NIAT for mixed reality training package on aero-engines. As Training Command of Indian Navy, SNC is responsible for organisation, conduct and oversight of all basic, professional and specialist training of Indian Navy. ATC and ATM are annual meetings held to take stock of Indian Navy's training efforts and initiatives and make course corrections, as required.
