Passing Out Parade of 102 IOTC - 22 Sep 23

87 Officer Trainees of the 102 Integrated Officers Training Course graduated on completion of Sub Lieutenant Technical Course in a Passing Out Parade on 22 Sep 2023 at Naval Base, Kochi. RAdm Susheel Menon, FOST was the Chief Guest and reviewed the parade. The 39 weeks long Sub-Lieutenant Technical course coordinated by The Centre of Excellence in Ethics, Leadership and Behavioural Studies CELABS are conducted at 14 professional schools located at Kochi, Jamnagar, Lonavala and Mumbai. In addition to theoretical training, the trainees were also exposed to intense practical learning through use of simulators, emulators, camps, sports and cultural activities. Slt Nagireddi Sriram was awarded the Chief of Naval Staff Trophy for standing First in Overall Order of Merit during the Sub Lieutenant Technical Course. Slt Vechalapu Shaminndra Naidu was awarded the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (South) Rolling Trophy for standing Second in Overall Order of Merit in Sub Lieutenant Technical Course and Admiral Ram Das Katari Trophy for standing First in Overall Order of Merit from induction to completion of ab-initio training. The Chief Guest addressed the passing out officers and urged them to continue their tryst with learning and enhance their knowledge during forthcoming sea appointments. He exhorted them to lead by example and pursue excellence in every endeavour while maintaining highest standards of quality in their sphere of work.
