Govind Menon, son of Capt Manoj Kumar Indian Navy, Class 10th student of St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School, Kadayiruppu, Kochi, represented India and won the Bronze Medal in the 10th Shitoryu Karatedo International Championship held at Jakarta, Indonesia on 23 September 2023. He brought accolades not only to our country but to Navy in particular. He had earlier won the Gold Medal during National Championship held at Mysore in July 2023, qualifying him for International Championship.
