To promote Aatmanirbharta in defence and innovation, number of announcements were made by RM Shri Rajnath Singh 04 Sep 2023 at plenary session of ‘Swavlamban 2.0’, the seminar of Naval Innovation and Indigenisation Organisation NIIO. 5th Positive Indigenisation List, comprising 98 items, of DMA was released by Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh. The list includes highly complex systems, sensors, weapons and ammunition. 76 challenges under DISC 10 and DISC 10 PRIME and two under INDUS X were also launched.
