44th Senior Naval Medical and Dental Officers' Conference, chaired by Surg VAdm Arti Sarin, DGMS (Navy), was held on 13 Oct 2023 at INHS Asvini to discuss issues and challenges faced by Naval Medical Services in delivery of optimal health care and operational preparedness. The conference was attended by senior officers from NHQ, Naval Commands, ANC, Indian Coast Guard and Commanding Officers of all Naval Hospitals. Issue based presentations on 'Mental Health Challenges' and 'Future of Medical Sailors' Training in Indian Navy’ were included in conference for the first time.
