Surg VAdm Arti Sarin, DGMS (Navy) inaugurated a state-of-the-art ‘Skin LASER Centre’ and 'Vestibular Lab' at INHS Asvini on 14 Oct 2023. The LASER centre houses Fractional CO2, Q-switched Nd-Yag and multi-platform LASERs to provide holistic and aesthetic skin care treatment. The Vestibular Lab incorporates tests like Videonystagmography, water calorie test, craniocorpography, etc to provide objective assessment of vertigo patients for their rehabilitation. The DGMS also inaugurated a Liquid Oxygen plant of 6 KL capacity, which will make the hospital self-sufficient in terms of Medical Oxygen.
