As a part of World Anaesthesia Day observed on 16 Oct 2023, a lecture and demonstration was organised by Dept of Anesthesiology, INHS Sanjivani for children of NCS, Kochi. More than 500 children from classes 9 to 12 attended the event and actively participated in CPR training. An overview on the history of anaesthesia, Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation was also presented to them. The children were provided hands on experience in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The medical awareness programme is an initiative to empower young minds to act confidently and appropriately in such situations.
