The Indian Navy's 'Khamree Mo Sikkim Car Rally' was flagged off to its next destination Hyderabad by Rear Admiral RS Dhaliwal on 13 Oct 2023 from the War Memorial, Visakhapatnam. The rally reached INS Kalinga, Bheemunipatnam and interacted with the Commanding Officer Cmde CS Nayar and the Ships' Company. The rally participants also visited Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam and interacted with the crew of naval warship INS Ranvijay. The rally has already covered a staggering 4800 KM, showcasing the team's determination and tenacity in traversing diverse terrains and challenging landscapes. Beyond the adventure and thrill, this rally carries objectives to inspire the youth to join the Indian Armed Forces by conducting outreach programmes in schools/ colleges enroute. The car rally Khamree Mo Sikkim was flagged off on 24 September 2023 from INS Shivaji, Lonavala by Commodore Mohit Goel, Commanding Officer, INS Shivaji.
