A Mutual Agreement has been signed between Indian Navy and Visakhapatnam Port Authority VPA for construction of Naval Outer Harbour at Visakhapatnam, during the Global Maritime India Summit 2023, held at Mumbai. The Agreement, signed between RAdm Nelson D’Souza, CSO(Tech) ENC and Dr M Angamuthu, IAS, Chairperson VPA would create permanent berthing infrastructure and associated support facilities for INS Vikrant and other capital ships under induction.
