A ‘Day at Sea’ was organised by WNC for MPs, MLAs, government officials and media personnel on 03 Nov 2023 wherein, 182 guests, including 40 media personnel embarked frontline IndianNavy warships of Western Fleet. The Day at Sea provided the guests an understanding of the crucial role Indian Navy plays in nationalsecurity and nation-building and exposing them to rigours and challenges of life at sea. An Operational Demo was conducted for embarked personnel, which included exercises such as defence against asymmetric threat, conduct of missile attacks, RAS and helicopter operations. The guests were also provided a tour of embarked ships.
