A blood donation camp was conducted by Eastern Fleet at Visakhapatnam as part of Navy Week celebrations on 08 Nov 2023 under the aegis of ENC. The drive was undertaken by Eastern Fleet onboard INS Shakti in collaboration with NTR Trust, Visakhapatnam which has been at the forefront of bringing socio-economic changes in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The event was inaugurated by RAdm Gurcharan Singh FOCEF. Over 150 men and women from Indian Navy and personnel from Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam voluntarily donated blood. The smooth and efficient conduct of event is the testimony to selfless and tireless efforts of Eastern Fleet personnel. The event was a success, as it saw excellent response from personnel who whole heartedly volunteered for the noble cause.
