NSRY, Kochi conducted a Medical Camp for the yard employees in coordination with Welcare Hospital, Ernakulam on the occasion of World Diabetes Day on 14 Nov 2023. The camp included a health checkup for the yard employees by the specialist medical team from the hospital. A diabetes awareness and lifestyle lecture was conducted by Dr Joseph Philips, Senior Consultant and Head of the Department (Internal Medicine), Welcare Hospital. The medical camp was conducted in line with the theme of 'Access to Diabetes Care' emphasising the importance of access to essential care and treatment for diabetes.
