As part of Navy Day 2023 activities, INS Shivalik conducted an outreach program at Kakinada. The local populace including 300 school children visited the ship. An interaction with schools was organised to educate the children about maritime aspects and motivate them to join the Indian Navy. The ship's crew also interacted with local fishermen to spread awareness on coastal security.
