A state-of-the-art "Geographical Information System (GIS) Data Centre" was inaugurated at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai by VAdm Dinesh K Tripathi, FOCINC WNC, on 21 Nov 2023. The centre will serve as a central repository for all sub-soil data regarding pipelines, cables and other services. This will greatly facilitate meticulous planning and efficient execution of future infrastructure/ civil projects to ensure uninterrupted provision of services within the Yard.
