Ahead of Navy Day 23, a visit of school children to ships and air squadrons and Naval exhibition was conducted at SNC from 20 to 21 Nov 2023. More than 4000 children from 60 schools, including NCC cadets, visited INS Tir and INS Sunayna. It was an inspiring day for young minds who gained insight into Indian Navy's operations as well as training capabilities. During visit to INS Garuda, children got a first-hand glimpse of various fixed wing aircraft and helicopters in action. The young visitors also witnessed an informative naval exhibition showcasing advanced weapons, equipment and ship/ aircraft models at Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology NIAT. The visit left children highly inspired with many of them expressing their desire to pursue career in Armed Forces.
