NCS, Mumbai celebrated its Annual Day for Classes VI to XII on 30 Nov 2023 with great pomp and vigour. Exhilarating performances by almost 500 students in a plethora of spell-binding events formed the mainstay of the function. The theme of 'Flavours of India' not only showcased Indian Culture, with its links to past, but also the pitfalls of modern living, including Cybercrimes. A notable aspect of programme was the breaking of archetypal gender stereotypes - with Abhimanyu Vadh, a male dominated saga, performed by only girls; and a mime on Naari Asmita, performed solely by boys. RAdm DK Goswami, ASD, ND(Mbi) was the Chief Guest and Mrs Anita Goswami graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The Chief Guest appreciated talent displayed by students and dedication of teachers and staff in putting up a grand show.
