Nutrifest 2023 was organised at INHS Asvini on 30 Nov 2023 as part of campaign to promote International Year of Millets. Nursing Cadets from the College of Nursing prepared and presented various therapeutic diets promoting use of millets. Nutrifest was inaugurated by Surg RAdm Vivek Hande, CO, INHS Asvini. The event aimed to raise awareness about importance of millets and their health benefits was attended by members of Aarogya group, health care workers, patients, personnel and families. The event also promoted production, consumption and value-addition of millet products and importance of balanced nutrition.
