As part of Navy Week 23 celebrations, Indian Navy has organised motivational talks in schools located across Delhi/ NCR and Sainik Schools. A team of three officers including one women officer interacted with students of seven schools viz., Govt Boys Sr Sec School (Ghonda), RD International School Rohini, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya (Mangolpuri), Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya Khyala, Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya Sultanpuri, Govt Boys Sr Sec School (IARI Pusa) and Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya Prahladpur. The team also visited three Sainik Schools viz., Sainik School Kunjpura Haryana, Sainik School Sujanpur Tira Himachal Pradesh and Sainik School Ghorakhal Uttarakhand. In addition, the team interacted with NCC cadets at NCC Annual Training Camp at SJ Enclave. The interaction was aimed to create awareness about navy, naval wayf life and apprise students about various avenues available for recruitment in Indian Navy.
