VAdm Dinesh K Tripathi, FOCINC WNC interacted with naval veterans of Navy Foundation Nagpur Chapter NFNC as also veterans from Indian Army and Indian Air force at Nagpur Army Officers Mess and Institute NAOMI, Nagpur on 16 Dec 2023. CINC congratulated the veterans on the proud occasion of Vijay Diwas on 16 Dec. Further, he thanked veterans for their many contributions both whilst in uniform and as veterans, in service of Indian Navy, Indian Army, Indian Airforce, our nation and society. He also updated the veterans about various ongoing op, admin and HR activities/ focus areas of the Navy, including Agnipath Scheme and Atmanirbharta. CINC also clarified misconceptions related to the Sep 23 letter on ‘Entitlement Rules for Casualty Pension and Disability Compensation Award’ (ER) and ‘Guide to Medical Officers’ (GMO) to the veteran community.
