Jungle Survival Camp for officers of 34th Dornier Operational Flying Training DOOFT Course was conducted at Vandanmedu forests in Idukki district from 17 to 19 Dec 2023. The aim of the exercise was to provide a realistic exposure to trainees and familiarise them with survival techniques in jungle. Nine trainee officers and two instructors attended the camp. The jungle survival camp included safe usage of survival equipment, pitching of tent, adaptation to jungle resources and drills on ground to air emergency codes for visual identification.
