As part of Navy Week 23 Celebrations, INS Chilka organised an Indian Navy Band Concert at Esplanade Mall, Bhubaneswar on 23 Dec 2023. The event was graced by VAdm Ramakant K Pattnaik (Retd) as Guest of Honour. The programme was witnessed by several Civilian Dignitaries, Retired Military Personnel, Serving Officers of Indian Armed Forces and the local population of Bhubaneswar. Indian Navy Band enthralled and mesmerised the audience with instrumental and vocal scores ranging from western classics, martial music, patriotic songs, retro Bollywood and famous Odiya Music. The smooth blend of various music styles resonated well with the attentive audience, making a lasting impact. The event extended its outreach to the civilian population, fostering a sense of patriotism amongst the youths.
