Indian Navy participated in Beypore International Water Fest 2023 organised by Govt of Kerala from 26 to 29 Dec 2023. INS Kabra of SNC was deployed to Beypore as part of the event. The ship was open to visitors and witnessed more than 3500 visitors including NCC cadets, school children and local populace. They were provided a guided tour of ship along with an overview of ship's role and capabilities. An ALH aircraft ex-INS Garuda performed SAR demonstration off the Beypore beach. Naval exhibition stalls comprising naval equipment and armament like torpedo, sonobuoys, diving apparatus and models of ships and aircraft carrier were on display in the fest. Further, motivational videos showcasing Naval capabilities and information on career options in Indian Navy also featured in the stalls. The sailing team of INWTC (Koc) actively participated in various watersports activities. The Naval Band enthralled the audience with a series of martial tunes and patriotic songs on the opening day of the fest.
