Mr Sanjeev Sanyal, Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister and Secretary to Government of India, called on VAdm V Srinivas, FOCINC SNC on 03 Jan 2024. Mr Sanyal also delivered an insightful talk on ‘Fighting Narrative Wars’ to the officers of Southern Naval Command. He shared his views on various factual errors, biases in many of the indices published by thinktanks, agencies and institutions rating India much lower than what would be fair and accurate. He emphasised the need to develop our own methodology on various indices which have larger implications on our standing on world stage and in the context of ESG (Economic Social and Governance) norms.
