Admiral Fahad S Al-Ghofaily, Chief of Staff, Royal Saudi Naval Forces is on an official visit to India from 10-13 Jan 2024. The Admiral was received by Admiral R Hari Kumar CNS, with a ceremonial Guard of Honour at South Block Lawns on 11 Jan 2024. Both the Admirals have discussed on the existing bilateral relations in maritime domain and measures to further strengthen Navy to Navy partnership including operations, training and related issues. Further, they discussed on the present situation in the region and need for collaborative mechanisms towards ensuring peace and stability. The extant visit by the Chief of Staff, RSNF has renewed the sense of commitment between two friendly maritime neighbours to counter the shared maritime challenges in the IOR.
