Rear Admiral Satish Shenai, assumed the charge of CSO(Training) SNC on 16 Jan 2024. An alumnus of INA, he was commissioned into Indian Navy on 01 Jul 1993 and is a graduate of DSSC Wellington and Army Higher Command Course at Army War College, Mhow. The Flag Officer has held several appointments, both afloat and ashore. As a specialist in Gunnery and Missile Warfare, he has served onboard INS Ranvijay, INS Mumbai and INS Delhi. He has commanded INS Kirch, INS Trishul & INS Talwar and ashore units INS Droncharya and INS India. His staff tenures include appointments at DFC NHQ, HQ WNC & 22KS, ENC & LWT(East) and Director, CELABS, Kochi. The Flag officer was awarded VCNS commendation in 2009, CNS commendation in 2011 and Nao Sena Medal in 2021.
