Lieutenant Commander Vipin Sheoran a Naval Pilot from INS Dega was felicitated by Rear Admiral M Murli Mohan Raju, CSO(P&A) ENC for completing the world's toughest Triathlon Ironman. He recently completed Ironman Australia in 11 hours 55 min in his maidan attempt, making him the fastest Ironman from India. The grueling event consists of 3.8 km of sea swimming, 180 km of cycling, and 42.2 km run. The officer is proud holder of the India Book of Record in running.
