The bond is for life – Veer Naris, the widows of Indian Navy personnel, are revered and are an integral part of Navy’s extended family. To celebrate their spirit, Sahara Milan was organised at INSI Sagar for the Veer Naris in Mumbai area. Vice Admiral Sanjay J Singh, FOCINC WNC and Smt Zarine Singh, President NWWA, Western Region interacted with Veer Naris over lunch. Help desks were set up at the venue for resolution of issues pertaining to Pension and ECHS. The Veer Naris were also informed about the new welfare initiatives of Indian Navy and NWWA.
