Nine trainee pilots of 34th Dornier Operational Flying Training Course graduated as 'Fully Operational MR Pilots' at passing out ceremony held at INS Garuda on 09 Feb 2024. Cmde Sritanu Guru, Cmde(Trg) SNC was chief guest for the event and presented awards to trainee pilots who are now fully qualified on Dornier 228 aircraft for all operational missions. The course comprised of one month of ground training phase, conducted at various professional schools at SNC, Kochi followed by six months of intensive flying and ground training at INAS550. Lt Roshan Singh was adjudged First in Overall Order of Merit. Lt Mohit Shoran was adjudged First in Flying. FOCINC SNC rolling trophy in memory of late Lt Simon George Pynumootil for the Most Spirited Trainee of Dornier Operational Flying Training Course was presented to Lt Anil Kumar Yadav.
