The Indian Navy inducted its first ever Radar Simulator (RADSIM) for naval aviation training at AIRCATS, Goa on 18 March 2024 in the presence of Rear Admiral Ajay D Theophilus, Flag Officer Naval Aviation. The simulator would play a pivotal role in enhancing the training experience for ATC officers of the Navy. Development and installation of the RADSIM was undertaken in close co-ordination between AIRCATS, Indian Navy and the Software Development Institute of Indian Air Force, and is a be-fitting demonstration of jointness between the two Services.
