Inter Squadron Novices Cross Country Championship at INA, Ezhimala for Spring Term 23 was conducted on 26 March 2023. The event was flagged off by Commodore Amitav Mookherjee, PD(Training), INA. The championship consisted of 8km run for NOC (Regular and Extended) cadets, whilst Midshipmen ran a distance of 12km across challenging terrain in Academy campus. In total, 123 officer trainees including 41 midshipmen and 11 women trainees participated in the event. Braveheart Squadron won the Championship. Cadet Tarun Venkatesh R (Braveheart Squadron) and Sub Lieutenant B Rupal Ashok (Achiever Squadron) secured first position among male and women novices respectively whilst Midshipman Ajay Dagar stood first among Midshipmen. Officiating Deputy Commandant INA presented trophies and individual prizes to proud winners. He congratulated winning Squadron and appreciated resolve, fighting spirit and never give up attitude displayed by all participating cadets.
