Training camps Barracuda for second term INA Courses and Rookie for NOC, was conducted at INA from 05 - 08 April 2023. A total of 135 trainees including 11 women participated in challenging camps. The camps are aimed at developing esprit-de-corps, camaraderie and leadership qualities, whilst testing physical endurance and mental strength of cadets. The camp activities comprised endurance runs in and outside the environs of INA, small arms firing, tent pitching, construction of rafts and punting, obstacle courses, whaler pulling and other Seamanship evolution. On final day, cadets were put to test in a highly challenging quadrathlon comprising a 10km run in full battle gear, 50m swimming, obstacle course and weapon firing. Brave heart Squadron won the Camp Banner for both Camp Barracuda and Camp Rookie for Spring Term 2023. Admiral Puneet K Bahl, Commandant, INA awarded the Camp banners and trophies to winning squadrons during Camp fire and congratulated all participants for successfully completing a milestone training activity.
