Indian Navy Ships INS Kiltan and INS Savitri participated in multifaceted maritime operations with Sri Lanka Navy Ships Samudura and Vijayabahu during SLINEX-23 conducted from from 06 - 08 April 2023. Highlights included tactical manoeuvres, helicopter operations, Maritime Interdiction Operations, Joint Special Forces operations, gunnery firing exercises, and SAR exercise. The Sea Phase ended with a customary steam past with ships bidding farewell to each other. Successful completion of SLINEX-23 further reinforced deep engagement and strong ties between two navies.
