POP signifying culmination of Electrical specialisation course was held at INS Valsura on 11 April 2023. 35 Officers including 26 officers of Indian Navy and nine officers from Friendly Foreign Navies (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Nigeria) successfully completed 95 week long course. Lt Gen KH Gawas, Commandant Military College of Telecommunication Engineering Mhow was Chief Guest and reviewed POP which was witnessed by parents of passing out course. Chief Guest complimented passing out course for high standard of drill and congratulated them on this significant milestone in their career. He highlighted that training at INS Valsura has kept pace with advancement in field of technology to meet dynamic challenges onboard ships. Awards were presented to officers excelling in academics, sports and extra-curricular activities. CNS Trophy and Admiral Ramnath Trophy for Best All-round Officer was awarded to Sub Lieutenant Mohit Bhuranya. Commander AR Khandekar Rolling Trophy for standing first in overall order of merit was awarded to Sub Lieutenant Ankit Yadav. Commanding Officer INS Valsura Rolling Trophy for 'Best Sportsperson' was awarded to Sub Lieutenant Shorav Singh Chauhan.
