In futherance to GoI’s initiatives on AatmaNirbhar Bharat and SelfReliance in defence production, Indian Navy facilitated an MoU between M/s GRSE and M/s Kongsberg Maritime Sweden AB on 19 June 2023 towards Indigenous manufacturing of Waterjet Propulsion System. The MoU, signed in presence of VAdm Sandeep Naithani, COM will aid Indian Navy with multiple indigenous options towards execution of future warship induction projects. This MoU will also facilitate ease of maintainability through localisation of components, spares and after-sales service and support.
