Mrs Sarbani Dasgupta President NWWA (ER) inaugurated the newly renovated & revamped Tarsh-a block-printing facility on 23 June 2023 in the presence of VAdm Biswajit Dasgupta, FOC-in-C ,ENC, senior officers of the Command and NWWA members.
The renovation included re-modeling of the printing area, provision of an exclusive color mixing area with associated store and setting-up of a 'Boutique' to facilitate display/ sale of items. Additionally, a covered terrace for drying of printed clothes and new printing blocks have also been provisioned.
The improved facilities will help provide an environment conducive to support the block printing work being done at Tarsh.
