As part of Navy Day Celebrations, Indian Navy conducted a Community Eye Checkup, Health and Nutrition Awareness Camp for the residents of Mulagada, Yeduruvani Palem, Pilakavani Palem and Gondesivani Palem villages with support from Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital, Visakhapatnam. The camp was organised under community development initiative of ENC at Gondesivani Palem Community Hall. The medical camp was inaugurated by Surg Rear Admiral R Ravi, CMO, ENC. Commodore Sanjay Adhana, Commanding Officer, INS Eksila and Surg Commodore Rohit Sharma Commanding Officer, INHS Kalyani were present for camp. Medical officers and staff from INS Eksila and INHS Kalyani and two opthomologists from Sanakr Foundation Eye Hospital conducted the medical camp in which over 200 local villagers including pregnant women and elders were extended free consultation and medicines. The attendees were also given health supplements during the camp.
