Indian Naval Submarine Shalki made a port call at Salalah in Oman from 30 December 2022 to 02 January 2023. The previous visit to Oman by an Indian submarine was in 2019 when INS Kalvari called at Duqm. INS Shalki was accompanied to Salalah by guided missile frigate, INS Trishul. During visit, Commanding Officer, INS Shalki called on Southern Naval Area Commander of RNO. The visit enabled an enriching exchange of experiences and information and contributed towards enhancing Interoperability.
